Girl checking the crop 2

Video shot of the painting

It is not new for artists to try the same subject over and over. Once when you are pleased with a few aspects such as the light, the color, composition, harmony and peace in the whole subject, one would like to try it over and over. This is the second attempt of the same painting. It is really very adventurous to capture the outdoor lighting. The crops in the background, the broad day light that falls on the subject’s dress and her body, so technically there is more than one subject. So it is sort of difficult to achieve the harmony in values in the painting. I am so glad that this is better than the previous work and the little trick here is that I used my previous painting as my reference which makes the current painting look much more sensible. So this is how the painting looks in broad day light. Thank you for your time.
