This is a woman checking herself in the mirror, checking to see if she complies to the conventional beauty standards of the society. This is one of my experimental works which took me a minimum of 10 days to finish the painting. I had to do the light and the color study simultaneously until I got on the canvas what was there on my mind and turns out this painting has come out quite well as expected.
By the way I took myself as reference in this painting. This is how the painting looks in broad daylight.
