This is a beautiful scene of a mother flicking her daughter’s hair, which is a pure sign of love and the daughter already passing her love to the unborn. If you could imagine it is room filled with love. As an observer it was quite interesting and energising to observe this love triangle from a distant. Such innocent and involuntary love and emotion is something I would like to capture and it gives me a lot of thrill in doing that.
For a commoner there are three subjects in this painting, the mother the child and the fetus in her womb but for an artist there are 4 subjects in the scene which is inclusive of the shadow. One of my best works I would say.
