Women on the Rock

Rajasthan is one of the hottest places in India. It is largely occupied by fine sand and it is a significant desert. Water scarcity could be a problem there. Only people that live there could get adapted to that kind of temperature and the living. Two women on the rock are looking at something, observing and probably waiting for something to happen or someone to come. Since it is too hot there, they cover their heads with their dupatta. Their skin adapts to that kind of heat and gets tanned on a daily basis. That is why they develop a very dark skin over the period of time. I like the way their dupatta is draped, careless yet it is there.
