Fetching Water

India has a lot of water bodies like lakes, rivers, and several waterbeds. Usually, an Indian woman in the ancient period goes for fetching water in mud pots called ‘paanai’ in Tamil. They develop the capacity to carry a minimum of 4 pots and the pots would be very fragile. Yet, they bring all the pots back with no cracks. These exercises kept our men and women very much in shape and gave us an opportunity to stay really close to nature. On our way, we would see a lot of harmless animals like dears, monkeys, and elephants. They would always have their own life and wouldn’t bother us until we bother them.
