She is a beautiful north Indian woman concocting and selling buttermilk. Buttermilk is an essential soft drink of India which is slightly salty and spicy in taste. Since India is a hot country we prefer it especially in summer. Technically I made a color base the first day, then segregated the areas of light and shadow the second day and third day finished the painting with details. One of the most appreciated paintings I would say.
