This year, 2019, I took a leave from real works and started practising very seriously. If you noticed all my works are very small in size this year. I started worshipping light. It is basically all about different versions of day lights.
Best oil techniques is the only way to achieve them. My current approach is to fix a color scheme for the works and go along in that direction. Also I very much rely on scumbling to achieve light. This small work took alone 3 -4 days of study. After each study, I had to wait for a minimum of 3 days until it is completely dry. And the reflection on the rocks made it so challenging. In fact, I was quite displeased with the first finished version of the rocks that I redid it one more time.
