Black Shawl

This is one of my students Sindhuja, posing for me. Such a difficult pose but trust me she stood there in the same pose for about 2 hours for 2 days. She only took one break in between. She is an aspiring artist and she is very fond of my style, one of my best students and she wanted the painting to come out really well that she did not mind standing for me for 2 hours at a stretch in that pose. She has a beautiful wheatish dark brown very Indian complexion which inspired me to paint her.
So this is how the painting looks in broad day light.
