Girl in the Swing

She is a young swinging girl wearing a beautiful rose chudidhar and enjoying her playtime. That is a homemade swing from an old cotton saree. These sarees are strong enough to withstand the weight of the children. I love the color of her dress and most of my paintings have vibrant colors. She is sitting there quietly and observing her friend who is a few feet away from her. She was posing to me and while I was sketching she took off suddenly for one of her important errands. I had to run behind her to calm her down and continue my work with her.
